Job Detail
  • Perform MIG welding using
  • 035 wire on 14 Ga, 16 Ga, and 12 Ga red and galvanized steel materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols
  • Set up welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow for optimal results on thin material
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
  • Grind, clean, and prep metal as needed to ensure strong weld joints
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment


  • Requirements

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in MIG welding, especially on light gauge steel
  • Ability to work with galvanized materials without compromising weld quality
  • Familiarity with
  • 035 wire setup and thin material welding techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification is a plus


  • Qualifications

    Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • AWS certification (optional but preferred)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
