Job Detail
- Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project plans and safety standards.
- Install mechanical insulation on pipes, ducts, equipment, and other systems using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of insulation and scaffolding components.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, as well as power tools including drills and saws for fabrication and installation tasks.
- Assist in fabrication of insulation components or scaffolding parts as needed on-site or in the shop.
- Perform related tasks such as insulation of mechanical systems, metal fabrication, jacketing of pipes / ducts, and scaffold building.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of scaffolding erection and mechanical insulation installation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to insulation and scaffolding projects.
- Mechanical knowledge related to insulation materials or systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work safely at heights on scaffolding structures while following OSHA or other safety standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions for extended periods. This position is integral to our ongoing projects requiring precision craftsmanship combined with safety awareness. - Pay: $18 – $34 per hour
