Job Detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in locksmithing or a related field is a plus; experience in healthcare facilities or similar environments is preferred
  • Two years of experience in electronic access control systems, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level platforms such as C•CURE required
  • Advanced training and/or experience in keying and access systems and general locksmith skills
  • Two years’ experience in multi-level key systems, key bitting software, key tracking required
  • Proficiency in Locksmithing and Access Control systems
  • substitute completion of training in the UF Health lock shop for experience
  • Skills in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of locks and access components
  • Experience in Welding and Millwork, particularly in relation to access solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Basic understanding of security systems and access technology is a plus
