Job Detail
- Install metal roofing systems including standing seam, exposed fastener, and specialty metal panels
- Measure, cut, and fabricate metal panels and trim pieces
- Read and understand roof plans, specs, and manufacturer details
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work efficiently with a team and follow instructions from foremen/superintendents
- Inspect work for accuracy, proper fastening, and weather-tight installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and metal roofing equipment
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Requirements
- 1–3+ years of metal roofing installation experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Comfortable working in different weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Knowledge of metal roofing tools, snips, brakes, shears, and seamers
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with standing seam machines
- Knowledge of underlayment systems and insulation
- Experience working on commercial roofs
