Job Detail
- Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy and attractive lawns
- Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and tree care (including tree trimming)
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks
- Use equipment like excavators for site preparation and construction projects
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Support hardscape projects involving the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility
- Assist with gardening activities including planting, fertilizing, and soil preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure proper storage of tools and materials
- Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators is desirable
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures when operating equipment or handling materials
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous for transporting equipment or materials to job sites
- Experience with snow plowing, tree trimming, or irrigation systems is beneficial but not required
