Maintenance Technician I – 1St Shift
Job Description
Job Detail
- Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment
- This includes, but is not limited to, motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls and circuits, computers, printers, and other equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
- Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated machine tools, test stands, and building equipment with minimal direction
Who You Are
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment- Ability to effectively communicate, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Extensive knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for the role
Required Lifting Weight: minimum of 35 lbs - daily
- Required to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours or more)
- Frequently twist and bend
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Trade school degree in electronics or previous electrical repair/wiring experience - Minimum of 5 years of work experience in electronics and machine maintenance
- Microsoft Office and SAP experience (specifically in a manufacturing environment)
