Salary Detail
$90,000 – $130,000 a year

Bachelor’s degree preferred (especially within the Green Industry).

Job Detail

  • 7+ years of executive-level leadership experience (Green Industry preferred).
  • 7+ years of management experience overseeing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (especially within the Green Industry).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and writ10communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, email, budgeting, and QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
  • Strong typing ability (40 WPM with minimal errors).
  • Ability to assess investment risks using cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to analyze business threats and opportunities and take strategic action.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing internal teams (office manager, estimator, field managers, crews, etc.) with professionalism and collaboration.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong external partnerships (CPAs, attorneys, bankers, consultants, industry peers, associations, etc.).
  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute and implement the CEO’s strategic vision for the company.
  • Partner with the CEO to set organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
  • Translate strategy into measurable goals for performance and growth, implementing companywide goal setting and operational planning.
  • Oversee daily operations and employee productivity while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop, implement, and achieve annual budget goals.
  • Lead business development planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external company teams.
  • Supervise the lawn maintenance, landscape installation, irrigation, and fertilization/weed control departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax requirements.
  • Ensure proper workers’ compensation reporting and compliance.
  • Ensure office schedules and administrative checklists are followed.
  • Create, maintain, and update all company SOPs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of bookkeeping tasks, job cost reports, and personnel documentation.
  • Ensure all necessary field paperwork is submitted promptly.
  • Oversee IT systems/software evaluation, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with CPA on financial statements and tax preparation.
  • Review and renew company insurance and bonding policies annually.
  • Manage banking relationships, including lines of credit, equipment financing, credit card processing, and payroll.
  • Project cash flow needs and budgets.
  • Oversee the H2B program.
  • Network with external resources to support company growth.
  • Prepare and coordinate annual corporate meeting minutes with legal counsel.
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education annually.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and manage staff as needed.
