$65,000 – $70,000 a year

Professional Journey of 20 Years+ is required

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Irrigation Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Irrigation System Management: Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinkler systems, drip irrigation, and smart irrigation technologies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of irrigation technicians, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with landscape designers and project managers to develop irrigation plans that meet project specifications and client requirements. Ensure that all systems are installed and operational according to design plans.
• System Optimization: Monitor and evaluate the performance of irrigation systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement improvements and adjustments as needed to enhance water conservation and system performance.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs of irrigation systems. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Client Relations: Interact with clients to discuss their irrigation needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns. Ensure that all client interactions are handled professionally and to their satisfaction.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for irrigation projects, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all irrigation work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Promote and enforce safety practices on job sites. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation system design, installation, and management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in irrigation system design software and understanding water conservation principles.
• Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of irrigation technologies, techniques, and best practices. Familiarity with local water regulations and industry standards.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Irrigation Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g, Certified Irrigation Designer or Certified Irrigation Contractor) are a plus.
