• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators.
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot irrigation issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments to sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers.
• Operate construction equipment safely when needed for trenching or system installation projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas to promote safety and efficiency on site.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment like hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring high standards of quality in all landscaping tasks.
• Requirements
• Basic mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems or landscaping equipment is preferred but not mandatory. willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience with irrigation installation or repair is a plus but can be developed on the job.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control is desirable.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including planting, mulching, pruning, and general horticulture practices is beneficial.
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and construction equipment such as excavators safely and effectively.
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Prior experience in construction or landscaping is advantageous but not required. training will be provided for motivated learners.
