Job Detail
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as trenchers for landscaping projects and site preparation.
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating lawns to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing new landscaping features.
- Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Support tree care operations by trimming, pruning, and removing trees safely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Engage in gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery to enhance visual appeal.
- Follow safety protocols at all times when operating machinery or handling tools to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members on large projects to ensure timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards that require attention.
- Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or groundskeeping is highly preferred but not mandatory. training will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment like trenchers or power tools effectively.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, trimming, planting, and hardscape installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles helps in understanding plant health and landscape design fundamentals.
- Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or removal enhances your versatility on the job site.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely is essential for efficient task completion.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transporting equipment or moving between job sites.
