Southern rut performance is a growing, local fabrication / manufacturing & service business located in dahlonega, ga that specializes in: welding (repair work, custom “one-off” projects & manufacturing based) custom fabrication & manufacturing (designing & assembling parts, brackets, adapters, etc) cnc plasma & computer aided-design (custom signage, custom parts, etc) sand-blasting & powder-coating motorsports service, repair & customization (aftermarket / independent based)at this time, we are currently looking for a new member to join our team as an assistant fabricator & welder!previous professional experience with welding and fabrication is required, and experience in other areas such as mechanical repair, refinishing and automotive service is preferred but not required.

$18 – $25 an hour

Job Detail

  • At this time, we are currently looking for a new member to join our team as an Assistant Fabricator Welder!
  • Previous professional experience with welding and fabrication is REQUIRED, and experience in other areas such as mechanical repair, refinishing and automotive service is preferred but not required.
  • You will play a critical role within the company assisting the Lead Fabricator / CNC Designer with all manufacturing, CNC welding/fabrication based tasks that occur within the business daily – with a chance to grow and learn in the other areas we specialize in!
  • This position we are offering is for FULL-TIME, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM each week.
  • The daily duties responsibilities as the Assistant Fabricator Welder are:
  • Assist Lead Fabricator with all manufacturing, welding, CNC based tasks to complete project(s) as needed (Welding, Grinding, Cutting, Shaping, etc)
  • Help identify potential resolutions to welding, manufacturing or CNC challenges relay to Lead Fabricator (as necessary by project)
  • Assist Lead Fabricator with generating supplies lists for projects, estimating labor hours to perform certain tasks within projects, relaying project or task-based challenges to Lead Fabricator / Management, etc.
  • Assist with keeping Manufacturing Area(s) and Tooling clean / freshly stocked when not in use
