Job Detail
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
- Mig (GMAW) and Tig (GTAW) Welding Proficient, Experience in Welding Precision Sheet metal as Stainless Steel, aluminum and steel
- Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders
- Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool
- Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
- Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times
- Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables
- Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED - Minimum 4 years of precision welding experience in precision frame manufacturing
- Ability to maintain tight tolerance of /-0
- 03 thousandths
- Proficient with reading blueprints and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals (SOP’s)
- Must be proficient with the use of measuring tools & validating own work to print specifications
- ASME Section 9 certification beneficial
- AWS certifications beneficial (D1

- Must be able to set up and maintain all welding machines and tools
Candidates will be required to pass a welding assessment- This is a practical test
- This involves performing actual welds to assess skill and technique

Salary Range (annual): $ 54,080 – $60,320 ($26 - 00 – $29
- 00) – Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package
