Job Detail
- Interpret dimensional drawings produced by company engineers to plan fabrication layouts
- Weld fabricated parts to acceptable quality
- Clean and prep product for paint
- Join, fabricate, and assemble metal structures using both MIG and TIG welding techniques as requires
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform such work
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
- Meet deadlines
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness and adherence to spec standards for good quality and fit
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment Competencies Strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills

- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- Required education and experience High school diploma or GED Preferred Education and experience At least 2 years of fabrication and/or print reading experience
- Trade school or higher education
- Welding certification
- Prior experience using Flux, Mig arch, Cutting torches, and welding machinery Work Remotely No
