Job Detail
- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metals including aluminum.
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect welds for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise during production.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to pass a welding test to demonstrate proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
