• Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES Welding materials together using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and/or GMAW (gas metal arc welding)
• Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel)
• Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc)
• Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts.
• Performing quality control
• Following directions given in drawings, blueprints, and work orders QUALIFICATIONS
• What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial? High School Diploma + specialized training or 1 year college
• 5 – 7 years welding experience
• Fabrication skills (e.g cutting, grinding etc.) essential Required Certificate
