Job Brief
Position summary:the working masonry restoration foreman is responsible for leading a crew of masons and laborers on commercial and/or residential construction projects while actively participating in masonry work.

Job Detail
- Crew Leadership:
- Supervise, coordinate, and assist a crew of PCC, masons, and laborers.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks according to the project schedule.
- Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other trades on site.
- Hands-On Masonry Work:
- Perform skilled PCC duties, being proficient in new masonry is a plus.
- Mix and apply mortar, set structural units, and finish surfaces to specifications.
- Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for quality and appearance.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce all job site safety rules and ensure OSHA and company standards are followed.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Project Management Support:
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work sequences.
- Track material usage and request deliveries as needed.
- Report progress, issues, and labor hours to project management.
- Identify potential delays or conflicts and communicate solutions proactively.
- Training Mentorship:
- Provide on-the-job training to apprentices and new crew members.
- Promote teamwork, craftsmanship, and a positive job site culture.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of masonry restoration experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of brick, stone, tuckpointing, sealants, concrete repair, restoration, and CMU construction techniques.
- Proven ability to lead a crew efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
- Understanding of job site safety regulations (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual, welding, roofing, and construction are all a plus
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy and carry items that could weigh more than 50lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb scaffolding and work at heights safely.
