Job Brief
An international manufacturing company is currently searching for a motivated welding technician to join their facility in the northeastern east side of columbus, ohio area.
Salary Detail
Up to $30 an hour
Experience

Qualifications
Diploma in releted field is required
Job Detail
- Welding and fabrication of automotive components, machine tools, and other industrial equipment
- Operation of automated welding machinery and robotics
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Assist engineers and management with welding / production process improvement and implementing new processes and machinery
- Tracking of tool and material inventory
- Other duties as assigned
- Welding Technician Requirements Include:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated hands-on experience (including professional training, apprenticeships, etc.) in welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, stick welding, etc., preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance documents
- Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
- This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
