• Evaluate coolers, storage spaces, workstations, communal areas, and equipment for potential threats to health, safety, or pest control, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Conduct inspections on products in storage and in transit within the distribution facilities to uphold food safety and product quality standards. Additionally, evaluate product handling and storage procedures to ensure the highest levels of safety, sanitation, and pest control are maintained.
• Maintain records of pest inspections and testing in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards for product safety.
• Initiate performance discussions with team members and supervisors to ensure product safety, healthy working conditions, and maintain effective pest control measures are upheld. take corrective action as needed to enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide support to all departments with proper sanitation practices, as necessary.
• Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks, as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Travel Required:No Environment Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
• Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F) Skills Specialized Knowledge : Work experience in product safety, hazmat compliance, health inspections and quality assurance.
• Special Skills : Strong self-direction, possess a high sense of urgency, demonstrate adept problem-solving skills for intricate situations, and showcase tangible resourcefulness.
• Physical abilities: : Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and Walking. lifting product weighing between 1 – 60 lbs. Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Other: Will be trained on a forklift and cherry picker Years Of Experience 2-5 : Work experience in product safety, hazmat compliance, health inspections and quality assurance. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7am -3:30pm Pay $23/hr Qualifications
