Job title: used vehicle reconditioning technician department: service reports to: service manager job summary: we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented used vehicle reconditioning technician to join our busy team.

Working Experience is required

• Perform thorough inspections of used vehicles to assess reconditioning needs.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
• Conduct light mechanical repairs, such as brake work, tire rotations, tire replacements and basic engine diagnostics..
• Identify and report any significant mechanical or safety issues to the Service Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications: Some mechanical experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as an automotive technician or reconditioning technician.
• ASE certifications would be a plus
