Job Detail
  • Apply preventative maintenance testing techniques in support of maintaining UPS batteries across our fleet of data centers
  • Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
  • Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management on a daily basis
  • Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
  • Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
  • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Provide support for LSE, weather events, planned, and unplanned outages
  • Provide cross functional support for ATS and Non-destructive testing teams
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Candidate must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company service vehicle, including but not limited to: must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they reside

  • Basic Qualifications

    Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
  • 1 year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations (e
  • g
  • , hospitals, military installations, public safety facilities, manufacturing); OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field (e
  • g
  • , Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics); OR trade school training/certification


  • Preferred Qualifications

    Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines
  • Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Basic scripting experience (Python)
