Job Detail
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks for the company’s fleet.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Monitor and inform Supervisor of shop inventory. parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Required Skills Qualifications Excellent mechanical, electrical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle, truck, and heavy equipment repair.
- Ability to visually diagnose issues and read/interpret repair manuals.
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools, equipment, and related software for service records and inventory.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Education Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience.
- Vocational/technical training in automotive or diesel technology highly preferred.
- AC Certification preferred.
- Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical repair work in a truck shop environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good vision for inspections and diagnostics.
