Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including engine diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Inspect, repair, and replace components such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Knowledge of being a Mechanic with general with Trucking, Diesel, Trailer, Hydraulic, Electrical, Welding, Torching, and light fabrication knowledge.
- Looking for a “Jack of all Trades”
- High school diploma or equivalent. technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with heavy trucks.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Shift: 7am-4:30pm
- Hours: 50 hrs per week with OT pay. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Pay Range is $20-$30per hr DOE
