Transformer Technician

Job Detail
- Assemble and disassemble large power transformers (69kV–500kV) in field conditions
- Perform oil processing, vacuum filling, and degassing operations using mobile oil processing rigs
- Execute electrical testing procedures, including power factor, SFRA, TTR, insulation resistance, winding resistance, and DGA sampling
- Troubleshoot and repair transformer components such as bushings, OLTCs, cooling systems, and gauges
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain detailed testing records, field reports, and commissioning documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Operate and maintain specialized high-voltage test equipment and mobile field tools
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, OEM representatives, and internal teams
