Qualifications
MasterCam preferred.
Job Detail
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Machinist 1 certificate/diploma or equivalent required.
- Tool and Die certificate/diploma or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: 2-5 years Tooling, Machining experience required.
- 2-5 years’ experience with CAD, CNC programming required.
- Experience drawing programming with MasterCam preferred.
- CNC, Machine shop, and Kaizen experience a preferred.
- Stamping die repair experience a plus.
- Welding and fabrication a plus.
- Experience using an overhead crane a plus. Personal/Technical Skills: Self-starter with strong work ethic.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility in a changing working environment.
- Mandatory overtime flexibility. Language Skills: Both writ10and verbal. Computer/Software: Basic Microsoft Office applications.
- MasterCam / Solid Works / AutoCAD or other programming software
- IV. Work Environment/Conditions:
- Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant Travel: 0-10%
- V. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
