Job Brief
Short-term contract – starts immediatelyelite mobile motors is seeking a skilled metalworker or welder to dismantle a full-size pickup truck for resale and scrap optimization.

Job Detail
- Safely remove high-value components (engine accessories, catalytic converter, body panels, wiring harness, etc.)
- Use welding, cutting, and grinding tools (torch, plasma cutter, angle grinder, Sawzall) to section truck frame, cab, and bed
- Sort metals by type (steel, aluminum, copper, cast) for maximum scrap value
- Maintain safety and environmental compliance when draining fluids and handling airbags
- Identify and preserve resellable parts without damaging them
- You’re a Fit If You
- Have welding or metal fabrication experience
- Know your way around power tools with confidence
- Understand scrap value and know what NOT to destroy
- Take pride in doing the job efficiently—not just smashing things
- Can work independently on a fast-paced, no-nonsense project
- Project Duration
- Desired timeframe for completion is ideally 1 day with a strict maximum 2 day deadline.
