Job Detail
- Experience (looking for 10+ years) as a Structural Engineer for commercial construction projects which include estimating structural components
- Comprehension of construction processes, including familiarity with construction materials and estimating quantities
- Experience with estimating software preferred
- Ability to read site plans and develop cost estimates efficiently
- Works well in a team environment and possesses excellent communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, fast learner, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the estimation team, management team, sub-contractors, and laborers
- Keep a positive attitude set an example as a leader that all crew members enjoy working with
