Job Summary:
Ground Works Land Design is hiring a highly skilled Stone Mason to join our elite masonry team. This role is responsible for advanced natural stone installation, including custom outdoor living features such as retaining walls, veneers, fireplaces, water features, and premium hardscape structures. We are looking for a master craftsperson with deep experience working with natural stone who can set the standard for quality, efficiency, and precision!
This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while leading others on complex stone projects.

Starting Pay range: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour + Salary (based on experience)

Duties / Responsibilities:
Install natural stone for patios, walls, fire features (firepits and fireplaces), outdoor kitchens, water features, and other premium outdoor structures
Shape, cut, and fit stone to required dimensions with high precision
Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and layout plans
Ensure structures are level, plumb, and aesthetically flawless
Lead and mentor crew members on proper stone techniques and installation standards
Operate masonry and construction equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
On-call for snow removal during winter months
Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working specifically with natural stone
Advanced stone cutting, fitting, and finishing skills required
Experience building outdoor living spaces preferred
Ability to read and follow construction plans
Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors for extended periods
Spanish language skills a plus
