Job Detail
- Maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing various electronic and electro-mechanical systems throughout the distribution center
- Providing comprehensive electrical support for multiple facility systems including conveyor systems, A-Frame sorting equipment, industrial printers, and strapping machines
- Troubleshooting control systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls
- Working with advanced equipment, including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS systems, compressors, and CRAC units
- Self-directed learning of new systems as technology evolves Leadership Aspects Leading and training other facilities assistants
- Serving as a technical mentor to team members
- Maintaining professional relationships with vendors
- Communicating effectively with the facilities team, operations, and IT departments Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of related experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick learning ability
- Flexibility with work hours, including potential holidays and call-ins Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Light electrical construction experience
- Experience with Windows operating systems and work order systems
- Experience with Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures
- Understanding of OSHA regulations
