- APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. APPLICANTS MUST ALSO HAVE EITHER AN APPLICATORS LICENSE OR A QP LICENSE.
- : Spray Technician FSLA STATUS: Non-exempt SALARY: depending on experience. Basic job duties: – The Spray Technician will be Pest Control certified at the date of hire. The certification must be kept up-to-date throughout employment at Arcadia Landscape. – The Spray Tech will be working independently, therefore he/she will need a good clean driver’s license and must be approved by Arcadia’s insurance company. – An Arcadia Spray Tech must be self-motivated, reliable, and punctual. – The Spray Tech must demonstrate the ability to read and understand labels, mix chemicals, calibrate equipment, handle emergencies, and handle spill clean up. – The Spray Tech must demonstrate knowledge of the Pest Control Commission requirements for trucks, equipment, and storage of chemicals. – The Spray Tech must be able to perform physical labor required for this position. – The Spray Tech must know how to manipulate the hose to minimize tangles or damage to existing landscape. – The Spray Tech will be interacting with clients and the general public, therefore he/she will need to present a clean, professional appearance and demonstrate good communication skills. – The Spray Tech must demonstrate knowledge of landscape diseases and pests and know how to manage these problems. – The Spray Tech will be required to keep complete and accurate records. – The Spray Tech will be required to estimate labor and materials for a given job and acquire the materials for that job. – The Spray Tech will be assigned the responsibility of mixing, distributing, and storing all chemicals and maintaining corresponding records at Arcadia Landscape. – Arcadia Landscape has determined that this is a Safety Sensitive Position that involves driving a motor vehicle, operating power tools, or operating other equipment that could cause injury.
