Job Detail
- Install solar panels, mounting systems, wiring, and electrical components on various structures including rooftops and ground mounts
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation
- Handle high voltage and low voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
- Perform fixture installation, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems
- Assist with roofing tasks related to solar panel mounting when necessary
- Operate forklifts or other construction site equipment as required for material handling
- Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Experience
- Prior experience with commercial electrician work or electrical installation is highly preferred
- Construction site experience including roofing, plumbing, or general construction work is advantageous
- Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of NEC regulations related to solar energy systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fixture installation techniques
- Previous work involving roofing or construction projects is a plus
- Valid forklift operation certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards are essential
