Job Detail
- Operate snow skid loaders, plow trucks, and other snow removal equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and pathways.
- Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to prevent ice formation and improve traction.
- Maintain detailed logs of work completed, including areas cleared and materials used.
- Conduct routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including lubrication, minor repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and ensure timely snow removal across assigned areas.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during snow removal operations.
- Assist with other landscaping or grounds maintenance tasks as needed during off-season periods, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, tree trimming, mowing, hardscape work, irrigation setup, gardening, or general property upkeep.
- Requirements
- Proven experience operating skid steers, snow plows, or similar heavy machinery in winter conditions.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL certification is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
