We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of metalworking techniques and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. The Sheet Metal Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
Operate various tools and equipment, including shears, brakes, and welding machines.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to sheet metal work.
Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in metalworking is required.
Experience using an ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $45.00 – $90.00 per hour
