Job Detail
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including shears, brakes, and welding machines.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Use an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to sheet metal work.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in metalworking is required.
- Experience using an ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory.
