Job Detail
- Fully themed environments—from haunted cabins and twisted laboratories to fog-filled forest paths.
- Scenic elements carved, cut, textured, painted, distressed, and brought to eerie life.
- Structural builds using wood framing, metal studs, trim carpentry, siding, and fixtures.
- Custom pieces through woodworking, CNC work, foam shaping, or basic fabrication.
- Atmospheric finishes: plaster, texture, aging, weathering, and the perfect layer of “something’s not right.”
- Lighting effects and simple 12-volt LED installs that make the scenes glow… or flicker ominously.
- What You’ll Bring
- Strong carpentry skills: framing, trim work, woodworking, cabinetry, or scenic building.
- Comfort using tools of the trade—saws, sanders, drills, chisels, routers, and more.
- An eye for detail and the patience to make something look perfectly imperfect.
- Ability to interpret drawings, photos, sketches, or quick “here’s the vision” conversations.
- A commitment to safety while lifting, climbing, cutting, and creating.
- Experience with CNC, foam carving, concrete forming, or masonry? Even better.
- A love for building in the shadows (morning, evening and weekend shifts available).
- Why This Role Is Special
- You won’t just build walls. You’ll build worlds.
- Guests will walk through your work. Actors will perform in the spaces you create. Your craftsmanship becomes part of the story told every October—lit by lanterns, drenched in fog, and remembered long after the screams fade.
- If you want your carpentry to do more than sit quietly in a kitchen or office—If you want to create scenes that make people gasp, scream, and swear something moved—Then step into the workshop.
- We’ve been waiting.

- Pay: From $20 per hour
- Expected hours: 5 per week
