Job Detail
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain power and manual wheelchairs, patient lifts, hospital beds, and related mobility/accessibility devices
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on patient and rental equipment
- Assemble, deliver, and install durable medical equipment (DME) in client homes or healthcare settings
- Accurately document service activities, maintenance records, and part usage
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users, caregivers, and team members
- Maintain tools, parts, and workspace in a clean and organized condition
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines for handling and servicing medical devices
- Participate in training and development to enhance product and service knowledge
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in mechanical repair, electronics, or related field preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Dependable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs safely
