We are seeking a motivated and dedicated service plumber apprentice to join our team.

Job Detail
- Assist licensed plumbers with daily service calls, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Learn to locate and identify the source of plumbing problems, such as leaks or clogs in drains and sewers.
- Help with the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.) according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Measure, cut, thread pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.
- Assist in performing inspections and pressure tests on installed systems or pipelines to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals to determine optimal work procedures and installation locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site and service vehicle, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, explaining services performed and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Complete necessary work orders, reports, and time sheets accurately.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED certificate).
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of and proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics), and perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude skills.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to learn, take direction from supervisors, and a commitment to completing an apprenticeship program to earn a plumbing license.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics for accurate measurements and calculations
