Job Detail
- Performs set-ups on a variety of CNC equipment with a general knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls
- Utilizes knowledge of CNC controls to set zero reference points, tool offsets, loads programs,
- Run production, monitoring parts to ensure accurate high-quality parts are made safely and as efficiently
- Utilize the data collection system to accurately record production activities including time spent, quantity produced, and any rejected parts
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, basic understanding of GDT as well as the ability to work from verbal instructions.
- Understanding of safety, quality and continuous improvement expectations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Willingness to work overtime to meet production demands. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3- 5 years of experience in specialty area – tool making
- Must be able to use measuring equipment and gages to ensure produced part meets specification
- Programming knowledge a plus
- Experience with CNC lathes a plus
- Experience using 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred) a plus U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
