Senior Estimator – High-End Custom Homes

- Develop conceptual and schematic estimates for high-end custom homes
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and trade-level breakdowns
- Lead bid solicitations, scope reviews, and subcontractor evaluations
- Maintain and update internal cost databases and pricing benchmarks
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership during pre- construction
- Identify constructability issues, value‑engineering opportunities, and budget risks
- Produce clear estimate packages, qualifications, and assumptions for client presentations
- Assist with buyout strategy and early procurement planning
- Qualifications 5–10 years estimating experience in luxury residential or custom home construction
- Strong knowledge of high-end finishes and complex coastal/hillside projects
- Proficient with industry estimating software and digital takeoff tools
- Experience with Buildertrend software preferred
- Thorough understanding of subcontractor scopes and Southern California pricing
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans at all design stages
- Excellent organization and communication skills
