- Reviewing project documents, survey reports and other data to support construction projects
- Developing and participating in field investigations and condition assessments of structures
- Conducting structural analysis and developing structural repairs and strengthening concepts
- Developing construction drawings and communicating details with clients, engineers, and construction crews
Successful Candidates Must Meet The Following Criteria
Bachelor or master’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with a minimum of 6 yrs of experience in evaluating and designing concrete structures- Experience in design for gravity loads as well as design of latera load resisting systems
- Good understanding of Civil and Structural Codes including ACI 318, ACI 562, and ASCE 7
- Knowledge of Seismic retrofits and utilization of ASCE 41
- Knowledge of design of Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite for Seismic upgrades
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to interact with clients, engineers, and construction crews
- Ability to generate structural models using design software such as Ram, Adapt, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or similar
- Ability to perform preliminary and detailed engineering calculations, coordinate with drafters and prepare technical submittal packages and reports
- Team and solution oriented with positive attitude
- PE/SE registration required
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
