Job Detail
- Prepare detailed estimates for service repairs, small projects, and maintenance work
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to determine project scope and cost
- Collaborate with Service Account Managers to align scopes and expectations with clients
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate proposals
- Source and verify pricing for labour, materials, and equipment
- Track quotes, follow-ups, and awarded work using internal CRM systems
- Support field teams with scope clarifications or cost-related questions
- Maintain organized estimating records, documentation, and communications
- Review completed work with operations to analyze cost accuracy and improve future estimates
- Continuously update unit pricing, material costs, and production benchmarks
- What You Bring 3+ years of estimating experience (roofing, construction, or service-based industry preferred)
- Strong technical understanding of roofing systems and construction practices
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or estimating software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear writ10and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and accuracy
