Job Detail
- Safely rig, lift, and move cryogenic tanks, trailers, and equipment using cranes, hoists, and other rigging tools.
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure it is in good working condition before use.
- Calculate load weights and ensure proper rigging techniques are applied to prevent damage or accidents.
- Collaborate with the repair team to position equipment for maintenance or installation tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling heavy and delicate equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of rigging operations and equipment inspections.
- Assist in other facility operations as needed, including general maintenance and support tasks. Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments.
- Exposure to cryogenic materials and equipment. proper safety training and gear will be provided.
- Regular use of heavy machinery and tools in a fast-paced industrial setting. Your Experience Should Be.. Experience: Proven experience as a rigger, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with lifting and rigging heavy equipment, including tanks and trailers. Certifications: Certification in rigging or crane operation is highly desirable.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of load calculations, rigging techniques, and equipment capacities.
- Ability to operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment with precision.
