$33.17 – $62.02 an hour

Work Experience of 20 Years+ is required

• Troubleshooting and debugging of RF devices, down to component level.
• Run tests on Viasat products and report results.
• Performing RF testing. installation, set-up, tuning and data analysis.
• Assist in building, troubleshooting and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment used in product testing.
• Assist in documentation writing, such as Assembly Drawings, BoM’s, Wiring Diagrams, ATP’s, etc.
• What you’ll need: 5+ years of related experience working in the electronics field.
• 3+ years troubleshooting and repairing RF devices.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience testing electronic products.
• Ability to read schematics and understand electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to follow a test procedure and complete necessary paperwork.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office for documentation creation and modification.
• Must be able to obtain a US Top Secret Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
• What will help you on the job: Hands on experience setting up and working with RF test set ups.
• Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and RF test equipment.
• Experience RF transmitters, RF receivers, and amplifiers.
• Salary range: $33.17 – $52.4 / hourly. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $41.35 – $62.02/ hourly : At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
