Salary Detail
$20.00 – $28.61 an hour

Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or power tools.
- Perform detailed trim carpentry, including installation of fixtures and moldings.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, and caulking guns for surface preparation and finishing.
- Conduct plastering and stucco work as needed for surface repairs or enhancements.
- Execute masonry or concrete finishing tasks when required for exterior projects.
- Assist with remodeling tasks including framing, carpentry, drywall installation, and restoration work.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting. commercial painting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding, and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for precise project execution.
- Experience with renovation projects including plastering, stucco application, restoration, framing carpentry, and masonry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate finishes.
- Maintenance Person experience or skills in carpentry (trim carpentry), concrete finishing, welding, or industrial painting are advantageous.
- Valid construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of safety standards and proper use of tools.
