Job Detail
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units and related mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and appliance repair tasks.
- Conduct system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify issues.
- Assist with plumbing connections and ensure proper integration of HVAC components with property infrastructure.
- Use welding and other mechanical skills to modify or repair equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions in the field service environment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used during installations or repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Skills
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC/R systems, or property maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Experience in equipment repair, welding and general mechanical work.
- Knowledge of field service operations including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate various tools and machinery related to HVAC installation and maintenance.
