Job Detail
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, and other electrical tasks.
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage wiring according to NEC standards and schematics.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Support framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when necessary.
- Assist with the setup of electrical systems on construction sites, including framing and conduit support.
- Experience
- Prior experience with electrical work is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters is highly desirable.
- Construction site experience is beneficial for understanding safety procedures and project workflows.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, low voltage, high voltage systems, NEC standards, and basic electrical theory is a plus.
