Job Detail
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain rental equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and material handling machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to keep equipment in top working condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in both shop and field settings.
- Work efficiently to minimize equipment downtime and keep the rental fleet ready for customers.
- Provide on-site service and emergency repairs at customer locations as needed.
- Build strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service and support.
- Maintain detailed service records and complete repair documentation.
- Operate service trucks, diagnostic tools, and lifts to complete repairs. Skills Experience We’re Looking For: 5+ years’ experience as a forklift technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team in the shop.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for field repairs.
