Job Detail
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and other temperature-controlled systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and plans to accurately diagnose issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct diagnostic reviews to identify the root cause of system malfunctions and determine the most effective repair plan.
- Conduct equipment repairs using welding tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Replace defective parts, such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, and other auxiliary components.
- Charge and recover refrigerants, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all service activities.
- Document service procedures and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with field service operations including equipment installation and system upgrades.
- EPA Certified
- Job Type: Full-time
- Base Pay: $30 – $40 per hour
- Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
