Job Detail
- Clean vacant units
- Maintain golf carts, gates operators and keypads, and other equipment
- Perform light inspections and replace light bulbs and ballasts as needed
- Monitor maintenance supply inventory for re-ordering and keep stock organized in supply rooms
- Pick up trash around property
- Spray weeds
- Pressure washing
- Inspect, clean, and replace signage
- Inspect PTAC and HVAC units. Clean and replace filters
- Clean and mop hallways
- Transport supplies among the Atlanta locations
- Turn office suites, including painting, plumbing, and carpentry where needed
- Wire and mount camera and networking equipment The maintenance technician is expected to work 5days a week, typically Monday through Friday, and be on site during the entire day except for a 1hour lunch break.
- Our standard office hours are: M-F: 9am – 6pm
- Sat: 9am – 4pm
- Sun: Closed The maintenance technician position is eligible for Storage Xxtra’s employee benefits package, which includes healthcare, 6 days of paid time off for holidays, and 16 additional days of general paid time off for the year. Pay range from $20/hr to $25/hr depending on the level of experience. Mileage reimbursement also included. Qualifications Must have a positive attitude and be honest
- Prior property maintenance experience
- Basic computer knowledge, such as typing, emailing, printing, etc.
- Additional Information As a condition of employment Storage Xxtra performs a background screening on all new hires
