Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Job Detail
- Monitor projects for constructability by reviewing mechanical system designs, including HVAC.
- Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, project budgets, and work schedules.
- Report regularly on work progress, budget status, and project milestones.
- Oversee on-site construction activities and supervise construction personnel.
- Determine project specifications to ensure full alignment with MEP requirements and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Review HVAC designs and construction contract documents to verify compliance with current code requirements.
- Travel to inspection worksites within the Houston metropolitan area as required.
- Qualification Minimum Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Engineer.
- Travel required for inspection at work-sites within the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) when necessary.
