Job description:no hiring experienced plumbing service technicianthe commercial and residential plumbing service technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties.

$35 – $40 an hour

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Install and service water heaters, sump pumps, water filtration systems, and other equipment.
• Work with copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and other plumbing materials.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and answering client questions.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete larger installation or renovation projects.
• Qualifications:
• Experience: 2+ years of plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial).
• Education: High school diploma or GED required. technical training or apprenticeship completion preferred.
• Licensing: Valid plumbing license or journeyman certification (as required by state/local regulations).
• Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Stand, crawl, and bend for extended periods.
